7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Please note this registration is for the in-person session Monday, Oct. 17 at 7:00 p.m. The location is Noble Learning, 3333 Adams Ave. in San Diego. The Noble Learning shop will be open before and after the class.
In this 60-minute session, you’ll practice three meditation techniques to achieve an inward focus and a deep meditative experience. This session is suitable for anyone regardless of their experience with meditation.
How will you benefit from this class? Develop your ability to quiet your mind and recognize the brilliant, energizing light within. The power of group meditation helps each of us to strengthen the joy and intensity of our own individual experience.
Meditation is an infinitely vast experience. It can be used to relieve daily stress or to achieve the highest spiritual awakening–and everything in between! The very practical techniques covered in the Noble Learning sessions derive from the teachings of Sri Chinmoy, a highly respected spiritual teacher, writer, athlete, and musician who dedicated his life to the pursuit of global peace and the unlimited potential of the human spirit.
“The Light
That we are looking for
Is deep within
And nowhere else.”
—Sri Chinmoy
Sri Chinmoy (1931–2007)
SKILL SHEET & ACTION PLAN
At the end of the session, you’ll receive a Noble Learning Skill Sheet to guide you in practicing the meditation techniques on your own. The handout includes space for you to add your own notes and inspirations. (Each Noble Learning class has a unique handout.)
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
Pushkara Blue has practiced meditation for 47 years as a student of Sri Chinmoy. As an instructor, he enjoys helping learners to master the fundamentals of meditation–including concentration, breathwork, and visualization. Pushkara is a long-time employee of Jyoti-Bihanga Vegetarian Restaurant, where he values the opportunity to practice “meditation in action” through dedicated service.
Pransukh Marks’ original inspiration to learn meditation came from reading about the life of Buddha. At the age of 18, he was deeply inspired to practice spiritual life under the guidance of Sri Chinmoy. After moving to San Diego from his native North Carolina, he’s taken up an avid interest in organic gardening as well as hiking, camping and ultimate frisbee. As a meditation instructor, he is eager to assist other aspiring seekers to pursue their personal goals.
This class is co-sponsored by Noble Learning and the San Diego Sri Chinmoy Centre.
