This free 50-minute class will empower you with simple, effective breathing techniques to help you manage stress (or anxiety), energize yourself, and experience inner poise.
Who will benefit from this class? Anyone who wants to utilize breathing to feel more calm, focused and energized. The facilitators will also give tips and insights on using breathing techniques during sports/fitness activities.
Gain a deeper understanding of your own breathing patterns, and experience immediate results through four specific breathwork techniques advocated by spiritual teacher Sri Chinmoy.
You’ll come away with answers to the following questions:
- What is prana--and how is it different from air?
- How can I become more conscious of my breathing (and why is that important)?
- What can I do to immediately calm myself when stressed or anxious?
- How do I use breathing to focus my restless mind?
- What type of breathing should I practice when I need more energy?
SKILL SHEET & ACTION PLAN
At the end of the 50-minute session, you’ll receive a Noble Learning Skill Sheet to guide you in practicing the breathwork techniques on your own. This handout includes space for you to add your own notes and create a plan customized to your own needs and goals.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Vasudha Deming an instructional designer, author, and founder of Noble Learning, where she provides skills training, business coaching, and free community classes. She has practiced daily meditation for 30+ years as a student of Sri Chinmoy and regularly utilizes breathwork techniques to help with stress, happiness, and athletic performance.

How to Join this Free Class: Once you complete the brief registration form, you’ll receive a confirmation email and you’ll be on the Participant List for the in-person session at Noble Learning. Please arrive a few minutes early so the class can begin on time. At this time, we are limiting the session to 15 participants so that there’s plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable.

We’re conveniently located in Normal Heights, near the 8, 805, and 15 freeways. The closest access is the Adams Ave. offramp on the 805 South or the 15 South and North.

Parking:
During daytime hours, there is plenty of free street parking along Adams Avenue and the side streets. In the evening, this popular area gets more crowded but you can always find something within a few blocks north of Adams. You might also try parking along the Adams Ave. bridge that crosses the 805. (This is about four blocks west of Noble Learning.) Other options include rideshare apps, the #11 bus, and bicycling.
