This free 50-minute class will empower you with simple, effective breathing techniques to help you manage stress (or anxiety), energize yourself, and experience inner poise.
Who will benefit from this course? Anyone who wants to utilize breathing to feel more calm, focused and energized. The facilitators will also give tips and insights on using breathing techniques during sports/fitness activities. This is a live online class (not a recorded webinar).
Gain a deeper understanding of your own breathing patterns, and experience immediate results through four specific breathwork techniques advocated by spiritual teacher Sri Chinmoy.
You’ll come away with answers to the following questions:
- What is prana--and how is it different from air?
- How can I become more conscious of my breathing (and why is that important)?
- What can I do to immediately calm myself when stressed or anxious?
- How do I use breathing to focus my restless mind?
- What type of breathing should I practice when I need more energy?
SKILL SHEET & ACTION PLAN
At the end of the 50-minute session, you’ll receive a Noble Learning Skill Sheet to guide you in practicing the breathing techniques on your own. This handout includes space for you to add your own notes and create a plan customized to your own needs and goals.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Vasudha Deming is an instructional designer, author, and founder of Noble Learning, where she provides skills training, business coaching and free classes. As a student of Sri Chinmoy for more than 30 years, she enjoys utilizing her skills as a learning professional to create and facilitate classes based on universal spiritual practices. Vasudha uses the breathwork techniques taught in this session as part of her daily meditation practice, active running hobby, and ongoing stress management.
(Note that Vasudha is usually joined by her co-facilitator Harita Davies, who is currently running the world’s longest ultramarathon of 3100 miles and is therefore unavailable for this session!)
