In this fun, active 60-minute session, you’ll explore techniques to help you establish or deepen your daily meditation practice. We’ll discuss how you can benefit from:
- Outer aids to meditation
- Creating an inspiring, personalized meditation area
- Setting a regular time
- Posture and mudras (hand positions)
Most importantly, you’ll practice meditation techniques to help you to connect with your own highest self—and tap into your inspiration and joy.
How will you benefit from this class? By practicing the basics and determining what techniques resonate most with you, you’ll take the first steps toward creating a sustainable and inspiring meditation routine.
Meditation is an infinitely vast experience. It can be used to relieve daily stress or to achieve the highest spiritual awakening–and everything in between! The very practical techniques covered in the Noble Learning sessions derive from the teachings of Sri Chinmoy, a highly respected spiritual teacher, writer, athlete, and musician who dedicated his life to the pursuit of global peace and the unlimited potential of the human spirit.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Vasudha Deming is an instructional designer, author, and founder of Noble Learning, where she provides skills training, business coaching and free classes. As a student of Sri Chinmoy for more than 30 years, she enjoys utilizing her skills as a learning professional to create and facilitate classes based on universal spiritual practices. Vasudha uses the techniques taught in this session as part of her daily meditation practice, active fitness regimen, and ongoing stress management.

How to Join: Once you register for the class, you’ll receive a confirmation email and your name will be added to our roster of participants. Please plan on arriving a few minutes early so the session can begin on time. The Noble Learning shop will be open before and after the class.

We’re conveniently located near the 8, 805, and 15 freeways. The closest access is the Adams Ave. offramp on the 805 South or the 15 South and North.

During daytime hours, there is plenty of free street parking along Adams Avenue and the side streets. In the evening, this popular area gets more crowded but you can always find something within a few blocks north of Adams. You might also try parking along the Adams Ave. bridge that crosses the 805. (This is about four blocks west of Noble Learning.) Other options include rideshare apps, the #11 bus, and bicycling.
