Mantra & Meditation
December 7, 2023
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
This registration is for the session on Thursday, Dec. 7 at 7:00 p.m. The session is held at Noble Learning, 3333 Adams Ave. in Normal Heights. The Noble Learning shop will be open before and after the class.
Mantra & Meditation is a 60-minute class in which you can experience a deep meditation focusing on universal mantras such as AUM, Supreme, Shanti, and Peace. The instructors guide the meditations with a harmonium and other instruments. The session also features other meditation exercises–such as visualization, breathwork, inspiring anecdotes, etc.
Mantra & Meditation is suitable for anyone who wants to begin or deepen their meditation practice.
How will you benefit from this class? Experience the deep sense of peace and well-being that comes from meditation on music and mantra–especially when done in a group setting. Learn the significance of simple mantras that you can use in your own spiritual practice.
Meditation is an infinitely vast experience. It can be utilized to relieve daily stress or to achieve the highest spiritual awakening—and everything in between! The very practical techniques covered in the free classes offered by Noble Learning derive from the teachings of Sri Chinmoy, a spiritual teacher, athlete, writer, and musician who dedicated his life to the pursuit of global peace and the unlimited potential of the human spirit.
“The inner music
Helps us to enter into
The silence sea of the heart.”
–Sri Chinmoy
SKILL SHEET & ACTION PLAN
At the conclusion of the session, you’ll receive a Noble Learning Skill Sheet to guide you in practicing the meditation and mantra techniques on your own. The handout includes space for you to add your own notes and inspirations. (Each Noble Learning class has a unique handout.)
