Invoking Compassion
March 17, 2024
9:30 am - 10:30 am
Welcome to Inspiration Week! This registration is for the in-person session on Sunday, March 17 at 9:30 a.m.
While personal effort is essential in achieving results from meditation, each spiritual seeker eventually realizes the value of invoking guidance–from within and from above.
The great benevolent force of Divine Compassion takes many forms, allowing each individual a personalized path of spiritual progress.
This active 60-minute session features 4 activities to help you
- Concentration to quiet your mind.
- Meditation on the divine qualities you seek to develop (humility, love, joy, etc.).
- “Receptivity” meditation to open your heart to higher light and love.
- Inspiring and amusing stories of spiritual life from long-time disciples of Sri Chinmoy.
How will you benefit from this class? Gain a greater understanding of how you can expedite your spiritual progress and consciously invoke grace and guidance.
Meditation is an infinitely vast experience. It can be utilized to relieve daily stress or to achieve the highest spiritual awakening—and everything in between! The very practical techniques covered in each Noble Learning session derive from the teachings of Sri Chinmoy, a highly respected spiritual teacher, athlete, writer, artist and musician who dedicated his life to the pursuit of global peace and the unlimited potential of the human spirit.
“If you want to serve
The life of humanity,
First feel the heart
Of Compassion-Divinity.”
–-Sri Chinmoy
