This free, powerful workshop is suitable for fitness enthusiasts at any level regardless of what type of sport or exercise you do!
The 90-minute class features four meditation exercises plus discussion and advice. The content derives from the inspiring and very practical teachings of spiritual teacher Sri Chinmoy (who was himself an accomplished athlete and the founder of one of the world’s largest running teams).

All participants will receive a handout to support them in using the techniques after the class. The recommended book Sport and Meditation (from which some of the course content derives) is not required but will be made available to participants.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
Vasudha Deming and Harita Davies are both life-long athletes who optimize their fitness routines with meditation. Harita has twice completed the Sri Chinmoy 3100-mile Race–the world’s longest sanctioned ultramarathon–and is dedicated to helping recreational athletes improve their performance and enjoyment. Vasudha is a distance runner, author and founder of Noble Learning, where she facilitates skills training, meditation classes, and inspirational events.

Closer to the time of the event, you’ll receive an email with instructions and link to join the online session. The link for the online class was emailed to registered participants on July 17. If you did not receive it, check your SPAM filter and send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
The online session will take place via Zoom (you do not need an account to join). We take all reasonable security precautions to ensure that only pre-registered participants can join the online session. Please note that the time zone on the registration form is PACIFIC time, and make any necessary adjustments on your calendar.
