This powerful workshop is suitable for fitness enthusiasts at any level regardless of what type of sport or exercise you do!
The 60-minute class features four meditation exercises plus discussion, advice and inspiration. The content derives from the very practical teachings of spiritual teacher Sri Chinmoy (who was himself an accomplished life-long athlete and the founder of one of the world’s largest running teams). This is a live, online session (not a recorded webinar).
At the conclusion of the 60-minute session, you’re welcome to stay on longer for a Q&A with Harita Davies, co-facilitator of this class and 2-time finisher of the world’s longest sanctioned ultramarathon of 3100 miles!
PARTICIPATION IN THIS COURSE WILL HELP YOU TO…
- Enhance your performance with simple visualization, mantra, and breathing techniques.
- Maintain enthusiasm for your fitness routine.
- Draw upon your inner source of strength, energy, and determination.
- Achieve your fitness goals through the practice of self-transcendence.
At the end of the session, you’ll receive an Action Plan handout to support you in using the techniques after the class.
The recommended book Sport and Meditation (an anthology of Sri Chinmoy’s writings from which some of the course content derives) is not required but will be made available to participants.
